The New Millennium Series published 20 books about 10 countries. Each of them was published in their native language and English, the book about Canada was also published in French and Chinese.

Halldór founded a book publishing company in South Africa called “History of South Africa” along with his friend Ron Robinson, a businessman and former Pastor. Together they published four books: Randburg, Johannesburg, Sandton and Port Elizabeth.

Halldór met with all the West Norden (Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland) Educational Ministers individually to explain his vision. Following these meetings he received letters of support from all of them including Denmark. The West Norden book set have since then been used as teaching material in many schools. […]

Halldór had the pleasure to meet with Mr. Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the UN, on the 38th floor of the UN headquarters building in New York (1998). Halldór received a thank you letter from Mr. Annan after having sent him copies of the first two New Millennium Series books.
